Privacy Policy for Zora Dental, LLC d/b/a Zora

Zora (“Zora Dental, LLC d/b/a Zora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides marketing and communication services to dental practices and related businesses. We are not a dental clinic. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and safeguard it—especially for SMS/email communications—and the choices and rights available to you. This Policy is designed to align with applicable laws and A2P 10DLC guidelines.


1. What We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide via our websites and forms (e.g., https://usezora.com/optin) or when communicating with us:

  • Business contact details: name, practice name, role/title, email, phone number.

  • Preferences & consent records: the types of communications you selected (service vs. marketing), opt-in timestamps, and opt-out logs.

  • Message engagement data: replies (e.g., STOP/HELP), delivery status, and related metadata for compliance.

  • Support interactions: messages you send to our support team.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data beyond what you submit. If you provide it, you do so voluntarily and we handle it per this Policy.


2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver the communications you requested (e.g., demo confirmations, onboarding and support updates, performance/feature notices).

  • Send marketing messages only if you opted in for promotions about Zora’s services.

  • Maintain compliance records (e.g., proof of consent and opt-out).

Consent is collected primarily via our web forms. Directly above the submit button, you’re shown clear consent language and separate, optional checkboxes for:

  • Non-marketing (service) messages: demos, onboarding, support, performance updates.

  • Marketing messages: promotional offers and educational content about Zora’s services.

Boxes are not pre-checked. Submitting the form with the relevant box selected provides express consent to receive recurring SMS/email from Zora. We may use double opt-in (e.g., reply “YES”) to confirm. Participation is not a condition of purchase.


4. Opt-Out and Support

  • SMS: Reply STOP to any Zora text to unsubscribe; we will confirm and cease messages for that program. Reply HELP for assistance.

  • Email: Use the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email.

Opting out of one program will not automatically remove you from other programs you joined separately.


5. Data Storage, Security & Retention

  • Where we store: We store information in our internal CRM environment (GoHighLevel) with role-based access controls and industry-standard safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, least-privilege access, authentication and audit).

  • Security: We implement administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure, but we strive to protect confidentiality and integrity and will act in accordance with law if an incident occurs.

  • Retention: We retain information only as long as necessary for the Service, compliance (including consent logs), dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Then we delete or de-identify it consistent with our retention practices.


6. No Third-Party Sharing for Marketing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may use subcontractors strictly to operate the Service (e.g., message delivery), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or with your explicit consent.

  • HIPAA: Where applicable to our role serving healthcare businesses, we handle information in accordance with our agreements and applicable law.
